Caution: There is no traditional recipe to follow with these
instructions. Fortunately, there's very little that could go wrong here.
Start with five or six packages of peanut butter Nature
Valley (TM) bars, sugar, and about six ounces of unsweetened baking chocolate.

Grab a bag of sugar and a carton of milk to
add to the mixture as we go along.
Add the unsweetened baking chocolate to a small sauce pan.
Pour one cup of milk into the pan. Begin heating the
chocolate and milk. When the chocolate begins to melt,
slowly add about one cup of sugar while constantly stirring.

While the chocolate mixture is heating on the stove
prepare the Nature Valley (TM) bars. Before opening the
packages, smash the bars with a blunt object such as
a meat tenderizer. Keep an eye on the ends of the
wrappers as they tend to explode open after particularly
spirited whacks. Once you're satisfied, open the bars
and pour the crumbled contents into a large bowl.

Don't forget about the chocolate mixture!
It can become a smoldering mess in a hurry if you
forget to stir or have the burner too high.
Continue to mix the contents of the sauce pan
adding milk and or sugar to achieve the right
consistency and taste.

Once the chocolate is completely melted and
you are satisfied that the sugar content is
to your liking, quickly pour the contents over
the crushed Nature Valley (TM) bars.

Mix the ingredients quickly or your hard work
will result in a hardened chocolate formation like this.
(It will still taste good though.)

After thoroughly mixing, place the chocolate
mass on a sheet of wax paper. Begin folding
the wax paper over your creation and press down
to flatten and shape into a rectangle.

Once you have molded the mixture into
a perfect, glossy sheet, step back and smile.
You are finished. You've just chocolified your
Nature Valley (TM) bar! Feel free to take a bite now
or strengthen your will power by covering
the bar in plastic wrap and placing it in your
refrigerator.
Slice a piece of the bar off and consume before your
next big adventure. The texture and flavor
will bring you a burst of energy before the
carbohydrates even begin to get converted to
glucose.
